AI helpers

Let your AI helper pay by itself.

It looks up forecasts, weather and storm history by address and pays per call. No account. No monthly fee. Prices run from $0.0002 per weather call to $0.05 per address.

The helper pays with USDC, a digital dollar, from a small wallet you set up. Prefer a normal account? Get a key.

An AI chat answering what storms hit 1500 Marilla St with 680 storm events

Easiest way

Not sure where to start? Ask your AI.

Paste this into Claude or ChatGPT. It writes the agent and walks you through setting up the small wallet it pays from.

Build me an agent that pays per call

Copy, paste into ChatGPT or Claude
Using the TrueFixR storm API (https://data.truefixr.com/llms.txt), write me a small agent that checks Model-Based Weather by Address for a list of places and pays for each call itself with x402, no account. Do a dry run first that shows the price and pays nothing.
Past Storm Leads by Address
Using the TrueFixR storm API (https://data.truefixr.com/llms.txt), how many addresses had hail reported nearby in Dallas County, TX in the last 30 days? My key: YOUR_KEY

Paste it into ChatGPT or Claude, swap in your address and your key.

I want a small program (an AI agent) that looks up storm data for a list of places and pays for each lookup by itself, with no account. Using the TrueFixR storm API, base URL https://data.truefixr.com. It uses x402: the server answers HTTP 402 with a price, the program pays in USDC on the Base network and retries automatically. Docs: https://truefixr.com/docs.html . Free menu of everything the API can do: https://data.truefixr.com/v1/data . Technical spec: https://data.truefixr.com/openapi.json . Payment details: https://data.truefixr.com/.well-known/x402.json . Use the official x402 Python client (or x402-fetch for JavaScript) and call POST /v1/weather/batch with body {"locations":[{"lat":30.27,"lon":-97.74,"label":"Austin"}]} ($0.0002 per location, up to 500 per call). First make a dry run that prints the locations and the total price and pays nothing. Only pay when I add --go. Use a small separate wallet with a few cents in it. Its private key goes in an environment variable named WALLET_PRIVATE_KEY on my own computer: never ask me to paste it into this chat. Explain every step like I am not technical.

What you get: A small script that works out the price first, then pays a fraction of a cent per place and prints the weather for each.

What your agent can buy

Five products. Pay per call.

Atlas United risk models for every U.S. address: address-level storm forecasts for the next 24 hours to 10 days, plus every reported storm near that address back to 2003. Pay per address, no contract.

AtlasCast, an Atlas United product

ML Storm Forecast by Address

Per address: structure replacement value in USD (replacement cost, not market value) and the estimated people there, plus the full address, forecast time, storm type, risk label and past storm reports.

$0.05 per address.

Atlas United

Model-Based Weather by Address

The free lean answer: temperature, dewpoint, humidity, wind speed, gust and direction, precipitation and type, pressure, visibility and alerts.

Free lean response.

Atlas United

Model-Based Hourly Forecast by Address

Temperature, dewpoint, humidity, wind, gust, precipitation, visibility, pressure, hail size, lightning rate and a tornado rotation score for the hour you ask about, about 40 core fields with details=true, plus forecast_hour_used and a forecast note.

$0.0002 per call with details=true.

TrueFixR

Storm History by Address: Reported and Radar-Detected Events Since 2003

A formatted report with a reference_id, one line per event, plus the summary view (hazard score, $0.50 per property): per category the event count, most recent date, years since the last event and, for hail, wind and winter, the most severe event.

$0.05 per event line, $10 minimum per report.

TrueFixR

Past Storm Leads by Address: Reported and Radar-Detected, Last 365 Days

Per address: full address, coordinates, storm type, event time, severity with its unit (such as hail inches or wind mph), distance from the event and a hit count for repeat exposure.

$0.05 per address.

Free previews on every product. Forecasts describe what could happen, not what will happen. Not affiliated with NOAA or the NWS.

The x402 loop

Five steps. No sign-up.

Your agent calls the API. The API says what it costs. Your agent pays and asks again. Click the diagram to replay it.

1RequestPOST /v1/weather/batchAgent asks for data.
2HTTP 402payment-required: ...Server names the price.
3Pay0.0002 USDC on BaseAgent signs and pays.
4Retrysame request + paymentAgent asks again.
5DataHTTP 200 + JSONData comes back.

Step 2, for real

This is the live, unpaid answer. Nothing was charged. Run it yourself.

curl
curl -i -X POST https://data.truefixr.com/v1/weather/batch \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"locations":[{"lat":32.78,"lon":-96.80}]}'

For developers

Working code for your developer.

You need a wallet with a little USDC on Base. Each call costs cents or less. Put the wallet's private key in an environment variable. Never paste it into code.

python
pip install "x402[httpx,evm]" eth-account
export EVM_PRIVATE_KEY=0x... # key of YOUR Base wallet that holds USDC

import asyncio, os
from eth_account import Account
from x402 import x402Client
from x402.http.clients import x402HttpxClient
from x402.mechanisms.evm import EthAccountSigner
from x402.mechanisms.evm.exact import register_exact_evm_client

URL = "https://data.truefixr.com/v1/weather/batch"
BODY = {"locations": [{"lat": 32.78, "lon": -96.80}]}

async def main():
    acct = Account.from_key(os.environ["EVM_PRIVATE_KEY"])
    client = x402Client()
    register_exact_evm_client(client, EthAccountSigner(acct))
    async with x402HttpxClient(client) as http:
        r = await http.post(URL, json=BODY)   # 402, pay, retry: all inside
        await r.aread()
        print(r.status_code, r.text[:300])

asyncio.run(main())

This is the structure used against this exact server. Running it spends $0.0002 from your wallet.

1

Fund a wallet

Put a few dollars of USDC on Base in a wallet you control.

2

Set one variable

Export the wallet key as EVM_PRIVATE_KEY. It stays on your machine.

3

Call the API

The SDK reads the price, pays it, retries. You get the data.

MCP

Or plug in the MCP server.

For Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients. One URL. Six tools. Free previews work without a key.

endpoint

curl: list the tools
curl -s -X POST https://mcp.atlasunited.io/mcp \

  -H "accept: application/json, text/event-stream" \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":2,"method":"tools/list"}'

Server name atlasunited-weather-data, version 2.5.1, from a real initialize call.

get_weather_data

Any dataset. No arguments returns the full menu.

get_storm_history

get_property_storm_history_report

Storm History by Address: full report for one property, 2003 to present. Supports date of loss.

get_current_weather

Price

What a lookup costs.

The 402 tells your agent the exact price before it pays. Previews are free on every dataset.

POST /v1/portfolio/risk, up to 500 locations$0.05 per locationListed in the x402 manifest.
GET /v1/data?dataset=weather&details=true$0.0002 per callThe manifest says x402 is accepted here when no API key is sent.
address, hazard_score (Storm History summary), storms (Past Storm Leads by Address), risk (ML Storm Forecast by Address), and others$0.05 per record. hazard_score $0.50 per property.Same /v1/data fallback. History has a $10.00 minimum per report, so check the preview first.
Plain truth. We showed and decoded the 402 for the weather batch route only. For other routes, read the price in the free preview or the 402 itself before your agent pays. Storm data means reported and radar-detected events. Forecast risk means it could happen. Neither is a property inspection or damage assessment.
