Your data,
protected.
We don't sell your data. We don't collect homeowner info. Here's exactly how we handle your information.
Last updated: October 5, 2026
At TrueFixR, your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website, use our platform, or interact with our services. By using TrueFixR, you agree to this policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
TrueFixR storm data products return addresses, coordinates, storm events and risk grades. They do not include homeowner or resident names, phone numbers or emails. Where a dataset lists businesses or public places (for example schools and hospitals), it returns the place name and category, not any person's details. We do not sell personal information.
We collect only the following categories of information:
- Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email, and payment details for account and billing purposes.
- Usage Data: We may collect anonymous analytics such as page views, clicks, browser type, and general location (city/state only) to improve performance.
- Storm and Address Data: Address information returned by our API comes entirely from public and licensed data sources. These sources do not include personal or private homeowner data.
- Support Communications: If you contact us via email or forms, we retain that correspondence for record-keeping and support purposes.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- Provide, maintain, and improve our website and platform
- Process prepaid balance top-ups, payments, and account management
- Communicate updates, invoices, and technical support
- Monitor and secure our systems against unauthorized use
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations
We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. DATA SOURCES
All storm and address data provided by TrueFixR originates from public and licensed data sources. TrueFixR processes and serves this data but does not alter or inject personal data into it.
4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
- All systems are hosted on secure, encrypted servers with restricted access.
- Sensitive data such as passwords and billing details are stored using industry-standard encryption.
- We follow best practices including SSL encryption and regular security reviews.
- Access to stored user information is limited to authorized personnel only.
Despite these safeguards, no online system is 100% secure. By using TrueFixR, you acknowledge and accept this inherent risk.
5. COOKIES AND ANALYTICS
TrueFixR uses cookies and third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site. These tools collect anonymous data only. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function properly.
6. SMS/TEXT MESSAGING
TrueFixR may send SMS/text messages to users who provide their phone number and consent to receive messages. These messages may include account updates and customer support communications.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on storm activity and account notifications. Typically 2–10 messages per month.
Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.
Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at [email protected].
Consent: By providing your phone number during account registration, you consent to receive the messages described above. Your consent is not a condition of purchase.
Phone Number Privacy: TrueFixR does not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number is used solely for the purposes described in this policy.
No Sharing of Mobile Information: No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the service, under their own privacy and security terms:
- Stripe: payment processing (we never see or store full card numbers)
- Supabase: database for API accounts, API keys (stored only as one-way hashes), balances and usage records
- Amazon Web Services: servers that run the Data API, the MCP server and our forecast systems
- Cloudflare: network security, caching and delivery for our websites and API
- Hostinger: website hosting and business email
- Email delivery providers (such as Brevo and Mailgun): sending receipts, API keys and account emails
- AI providers (such as Microsoft Azure OpenAI): generating replies for our website chatbot
- Google Analytics: anonymous website usage statistics
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
8. YOUR RIGHTS
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal account data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
9. AI CHATBOT
TrueFixR uses an AI-powered chatbot on its website to assist visitors with questions about our API, pricing, and features. The chatbot is powered by third-party AI services and operates under the following guidelines:
- Conversation Logs: Chatbot conversations (message text, page, time and IP address) are logged so we can improve answers and prevent abuse. They are not linked to your TrueFixR account and are deleted after 12 months. Please do not enter personal information in the chat.
- No Personal Data Collection: The chatbot does not ask for or collect personal information such as names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses.
- Rate Limiting: To prevent abuse, chatbot usage is rate-limited per session and per IP address. This data is temporary and automatically purged.
- Third-Party Processing: Chat messages are sent to AI providers (such as Azure OpenAI) for processing. These providers do not use your messages for training and are bound by their own privacy policies.
10. DATA RETENTION
- API and MCP request logs (including IP addresses): kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Website chatbot conversation logs (message text, page, time and IP address): kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Account data: kept while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
- Payment, balance and usage records: kept as long as needed for billing, tax and accounting obligations.
- Anonymous website analytics (page views, clicks, general location): kept for up to 90 days.
- Storm, forecast and address data from public and licensed sources: kept indefinitely. It does not contain personal data about homeowners.
11. DATA API, MCP SERVER AND AI ASSISTANTS
When you use the TrueFixR / Atlas United Data API (data.truefixr.com) or MCP server (mcp.atlasunited.io), we collect:
- Request details: the parameters of each request to our Data API or MCP server (for example state, county, coordinates, a street address you look up, storm type and date range).
- Technical data: the IP address the request came from, the time, the response status and speed, and the name of the software or AI app that sent it (for example ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor, as reported by that app).
- API key reference: if you use an API key, we record a short one-way fingerprint of it so usage can be tied to your account. We never log the key itself.
- Account and billing data for API customers: name, email, company (if provided), prepaid balance, usage and payment records. Card details are handled by Stripe.
You can use our data inside third-party AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude through our MCP server (mcp.atlasunited.io). When you do, the AI assistant decides what to send us. We receive only the request it sends for our tools (the parameters described above), plus the technical data listed above. We do not receive your chat history, your prompts in general, your AI account profile or your memories. Your use of those assistants is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not use requests from AI assistants for advertising and we do not sell them.
TrueFixR iPhone app. The app does not require an account or login. When you type an address or move the map, the app sends that address or the map coordinates to our Data API (data.truefixr.com) to return results. Like other requests to the API, we also receive technical data such as your IP address, the time and the response status. We do not ask for your name, email or contacts, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and the app does not sell or share this information for advertising. Request logs from the app are kept for up to 12 months. Questions or deletion requests can be sent to the contact address in Section 17.
StormDrop iPhone app. StormDrop lets contractors order printed postcards for homes in an area after a storm. To place and track an order, the app collects the information you enter: your name, email address, phone number and company name; the counties and addresses you choose to mail; the postcard artwork and logo you upload; and your order details and order history. We use this information to fulfill and track your order, to send you order confirmations and status updates, and to contact you about your order or support requests. Payment is handled by Stripe on its own payment page, and we do not receive or store your card number. Printing and mailing is done by a print and mail vendor, and they receive the postcard artwork and the mailing addresses needed to produce and deliver your order. The app also keeps your chosen counties, settings and order history on your phone. StormDrop does not use your location, does not ask for access to your contacts, camera or photos beyond the images you pick to upload, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising. We keep order records for as long as needed for billing, tax, accounting and support, and request logs for up to 12 months. To ask for access, correction or deletion of your information, email the contact address in Section 17, and we will respond within 30 days. Effective October 10, 2026.
Hail Cast iPhone app. Hail Cast shows hail areas reported near you so you can plan your drive. The app does not require an account, email address or password. When the app is open, it sends your location to our service to find hail areas near you and to sort them by drive time. Pro subscribers who turn on hail alerts also give us a push notification device token, a hashed subscription identifier and an alert area, which is your location rounded to about 7 miles. These are linked to your subscription, not to your name or email. If you turn on "Update my alert area as I travel," the app can also check your rounded location in the background as you move to a new town. Apple handles subscriptions and payments, and we receive your subscription status from Apple. Notes, tags and reminders you write stay on your phone and are never sent to us. We do not use this information for advertising, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell it. Alert records are deleted after 90 days without use, and request logs are kept for up to 12 months. To ask for access or deletion, email the contact address in Section 17.
12. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
TrueFixR is designed for business professionals and is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
13. DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. TrueFixR does not currently respond to DNT signals, as there is no industry-wide standard for compliance. However, you can manage your cookie and tracking preferences through your browser settings at any time.
14. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

- Right to Delete: You can request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Right to Opt-Out: TrueFixR does not sell personal information to third parties. If this ever changes, we will provide a clear opt-out mechanism.
- Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

TrueFixR is operated from the United States and our services are designed for the US market. If you access our platform from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the US where our servers are located. By using TrueFixR, you consent to this transfer.
16. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of TrueFixR after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
